Organized by the Young Writers Press, the National English Writing Competition (NEW-C) is an on-the-spot writing competition held in Singapore for students between 8 to 12 years old.
Registration is only open through schools and annually, more than a hundred of Singapore’s top students are nominated by their schools to represent them in this competition.
As Singapore’s most prestigious and longest-running nationwide on-the-spot writing competition for students, this competition aims to recognise and encourage budding talents.
