We received a flurry of submissions, featuring a wonderfully varied selection of stories. The entries took readers on thrilling rides—from quiet libraries where ancient books suddenly fluttered open to bustling futuristic spaceports experiencing sudden total blackouts, revealing secrets we can barely fathom.
With ticking countdowns, vanishing midnight trains, and narrow escapes just before the final hour, reviewing over a thousand entries proved one thing: the stroke of eleven is a boundary where anything can happen, and time is the most unpredictable character of all.
